Note: Beware of Taxi Fares in Stockholm!Look for the price sticker that should be prominently displayed on the outside of the vehicle. Compare the prices given in large numbers, i.e. the highest unit price of each vehicle. The highest unit price of most taxis is between SEK 290 - 390. - Sweden does not regulate prices; they may vary greatly. It is the customer’s responsibility to check prices beforehand. - Check the price on the yellow label, which is usually on the rear door window, before entering the vehicle. - The price on the yellow label is based on a 10 km, 15-min journey. - When taking a taxi at a taxi station, you do not need to take the first vehicle in line – you are free to select any taxi company. - The price is indicated on the taximeter is in Swedish kronor. Always ask for a taximeter receipt when paying for the journey. Ask the driver about ‘fixed fare’ before departure, which is usually cheaper than the metered fare.
