Bio Sciences and Health
Bio Sciences and Health groups aim to bring together Korean and European scientists working in various fields of Bio Sciences and Heath-related research, encourage communication, and strengthen the global networks. We also encourage establishing the global networks and developing joint research projects between Korea and Europe. The sessions will be organized in different categories as listed below: Poster presentation Oral presentations This year, we co-organize 1 keynote and 6 oral presentation sessions with Korean Academy of Science and Technology (KAST) and 2 oral presentation sessions with IBS Center for Plant Aging Research. The sessions with KAST will cover various fields in Science and Technology, under the common topic of “Convergence Science and Technology for Human Heath” as following: - Keynote session: “Convergence Science and Technology for Human Health” - Talk sessions: o Biomedical science and technology o Innovations in drug discovery o Biophysics and nano bioscience o Novel Therapeutics and Chemical Biology o Emerging and challenging human diseases o Information and data science for human health The sessions with IBS Center for Plant Aging Research will focus on "Comparative study of aging and death processes across species" as following: o Aging Mechanisms ; comparative aspects I (STEPI/IBS Forum) o Aging Mechanisms ; comparative aspects II (STEPI/IBS Forum)
